Devon County Show 2013

The Devon County Show takes place on 16th, 17th and 18th May at Westpoint Exeter.

Livestock and animals, stunts, JCB Dancing Diggers, beer tent, honey, stalls clothes, Falconer, Food and drink, horses, sheep shearing, steam engines, vintage cars, and crafts to name just a few of the attractions taking place.  A fantastic day out for all the family.

Happy New Year to all our past and future guests, hoping that your Christmas was a happy and relaxing one. For us it was a chance to evaluate the 2017 season - the highs and lows and throw around some ideas on what to do during the Winter months in the way of renovating and redecorating. Along with this we have had some lovely professional photos taken of room 2, our Kingsize room which was decorated during the year and the guest lounge and dining room redecorated and kitted out with some new wicker style chairs.  Really pleased with the result. A day at the Zoo

Invited to a trade day for hoteliers yesterday at Paignton Zoo.  Great opportunity to have an tour so we can pass on information to our guests when visiting.  Paington Zoo is a fantastic day out for all the family and has certainly grown from its hubble opening in 1923.  Today it is home to thousands of animals living across 80 acres and is dedicated to education and conservation of our wildlife.  Anyone visiting our guest house can pick up discount vouchers for this attraction and also Living Coasts6 ,a small coastal zoo in Torquay housing seals, penguins and other various sea birds.
